This program is designed for Interventional Neuroradiologists,
Endovascular Neurosurgeons, and Interventional Neurologists,
as well as allied health professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge of neurovascular
anatomy and the understanding and management of vascular disorders affecting the central
nervous system.

The etiology, clinical presentation, and treatment methods of cerebrovascular diseases
in both adults and children will be explained and taught in a structured and comprehensive manner.

About the Conference

This conference represents an international neurovascular educational program. It was initially named the
International Master Degree Course in Neurovascular Diseases (2000–2009) and was later renamed the
PLANET Conference (Pierre Lasjaunias Neurovascular Education Team Conference) following the unexpected
passing of Prof. Pierre Lasjaunias in 2008.

The program has continued successfully on an annual basis in various countries worldwide and is recognized as the
premier educational program for teaching the fundamentals of Interventional Neuroradiology.

The course focuses on neurovascular anatomy and the understanding and management of vascular disorders affecting the

adults and children are comprehensively covered.

Program Goals and Format

The primary goals of the program are to improve attendees’ knowledge of neurovascular anatomy, pathophysiology, and the
clinical presentation of cerebrovascular diseases in adults and children.

  • Hands-on workshops during each session
  • Panel discussions based on cases presented by participants

These formats are designed to encourage active participation and meaningful interaction between students and faculty.
